Really?!?!?!

No, no, no!!!!!!!!! We had a crop night at HOBBYKUNST yesterday, and some of my friends wanted to take a look at my Art Journal... It's still there, and I do not know how I will get through my weekend without it :-( It's 40 minutes by car one way.... Can I manage without it?!?!? Or, do I have to drive to Vestby....?!?!?! Miss you AJ!

I just have to show you :-)

Two little birds told me that I just needed to post this picture on my blog, and she tells me that I am totally impossible when I do my Art Journal. Ok, I am :-) But, I LOVE it :-)

To små søte fugler visket meg i øret her om dagen, og sa at jeg bare måtte legge ut dette bildet på bloggen min. Hun syns jeg er en smule i transe når jeg sitter med Art Journalen min og klæsjer og kliner til den store gullmedaljen...hi hi! Gjett om jeg koser meg da, når jeg sitter å leker :-)

Twinkling H2O at StampARTic

I made these two cards for a article at StampARTic by the ARTsyteam, and I had so much fun making them. Sat together with a very good friend of mine, and we played with the motives from The Octopode Factory. I love these birds, and I promise you that first thing tomorrow I am going to buy them.

Card number 1 is made with lots of water on the background paper, and here I added twinkling H2O with a large waterbrush. It's easy and so fast to make a colorful and shimmering background. I used my heatgun to dry the background before I added stamps and motives. The tree stamp is designed by me for Kreativ Hobby, and the motives are as I mentioned above from The Octopode Factory designed by Lily. Text stamp is from Tim Holtz.

Card number 2 is made with adding water to a nonestick matt, and blending the twinkling H2O with a waterbrush. Then I laid the background paper on top, and did this until I got the wanted result. Chipboard is added on to the background with multi-medium and colored with H2O and rub-ons colors that I bought at HOBBYKUNST. Flowers is also from HOBBYKUNST, and are from the line Mathia.

Little Monster

...not sure what Pernille thinks, but this is my little taking monster :-)

Background is made with gesso and Matt Acrylic Paint from Kreul. Additional to that, I have used Waterbased crayons from Crea Color. Fun to make, and I love the outcome of it :-) And this is the first page finnished in my new art journal book!

Bakgrunnen er laget med gesso og akrylmaling fra Kreul. I tillegg til det, så har jeg brukt vannbaserte pasteller fra Crea Color. Kjempe morsom side å lage, og jeg liker faktisk resultatet :-) Håper du også gjør det!

Cupcake Sunday!

Yes, cupcake Sunday! Believe it or not, I have made cupcakes today :-)

With products that we have in store from Wilton, I just needed to try out american cupcakes... Since we do have so much products to make them pretty :-) This is my second time, and I think I like it :-) I like to BAKE :-)

Frosting is made of Philidelphia Cheese, Oil, Pouder Sugar and Lemon! I can recommand this if you do not like your cupcakes too sweet :-)

Jaaaaa, det er faktisk muffinsdag i Munkebekken i dag! Tro det eller ikke, jeg har bakt "cupcakes" i dag. Skikkelige amerikanske med noen av de kule produktene jeg har funnet i butikken fra Wilton. Så nå kommer jeg nok til å gå enda mer bananas når jeg kommer på jobb i morgen, fordi dette var virkelig gøy :-) Fnis :-)

Pynten er forresten laget med philidelphia ost, rapsolje, melis og ferskpresset sitron. Denne kan jeg virkelig anbefale, dersom du ikke liker muffinsene dine for søte :-)

Let me introduce...

...my next new Art Journal! Got it in London on a flea market, and I am so happy that I found it! It was waiting for me in a small antique book shop in Portobello Road, and it was screaming "take me home, take me home".

I love my new Art Journal :-)

La meg introdusere min nye Art Journal! Jeg fant den på et loppemarket i London, og jeg er mega glad for at jeg fant akkurat denne boken. Den ble funnet i en liten antikk bokbutikk, i andre etasje innerst inne i en krok. Den bare skrek mot meg "ta meg hjem, ta meg hjem"!

Jeg bare LOVE min nye Art Journal bok :-)

Back from London!

Back from seven days in London, and what a perfect holiday! We enjoid every second of it and I have been taking a lot of pictures.

Here's tree of them, Big Ben, Blade Rubber Stamp Store and of course my daily favorite Starbuck Ice Latte. Yammi! And, I can recommend Blade Rubber Stamps for all rubber stamps lovers :-) Small shop, but lots of cool stamps!! Got a bit expensive...

Anyway, I am back and I am getting a visit this weekend. A creative visit, and we are planning for lots of Art Journal fun :-)

Hjemme fra en fantastisk uke i London, og som bare var en utrolig avslappende og morsomt opphold. Vi har kost oss med sightseeing, shopping, musicals og vin. Dette var akkurat et jeg trengte nå!

Bildene over er fra Big Ben, Blade Rubber Stamps og min daglige uvane - Starbucks Is Latte. Kan virkelig anbefale Blade Rubber Stamps - liten butikk med masse kule stempler. Men skru ikke opp forventningene, siden det sikkert har helt med din stempel-stil. Jeg likte iallefall det jeg fant :-)

Og i helgen får jeg kreativt besøk, og det gleder jeg meg kjempe mye til. Planene er å leke med Art Journalene våre! Johoooooo! Så kanskje det blir lagt ut litt i løpet av helgen....

...and she now know how the summer is in Norway :-) It was poring down on Sunday, and of course we got so wet! This page is made with memories of that day, and I think Jing will know what I mean with these words :-)

Have to admit that 4th of August came a little bit to fast, and that I had to rush my card. Also has to admit that I am not that happy with my card, but not to unhappy either :-) I just bought a lot of stamps from Unity Stamps designed by Suzi Blu. Love the stamps, and I have the feeling that you will see a lot of stamps from that collection in my blog in the time to come :-)

Days go by...

...and in between visit from Bergen, Australia and work, I do not find time to be creative. I want to, but the time just fly by and suddenly it's time to go to bed :-) As some of you know, I find inspiration and things to use in my Art Journal everywhere. And to work in Norways biggest craftstore may be a risk :-) As the other day, when I suddenly realized that Crayola has some very cool metallic crayons. Just had to make a fun page....

Timer og dager flyr forbi, og innimellom besøk fra Bergen, Australia og jobb, er det nesten aldri tid for kreative sysler. Jeg vil og ønsker å være kreativ hele tiden, men plutselig er det tid for senga. Men, innimellom finner jeg tid, og da er det som regel Art Journalen min som blir fokuset. Insirasjon finner jeg over alt, og det å jobbe for Norges største hobbybutikk betyr en stor risiko - fnis! Her om dagen oppdaget jeg at Crayola har barnepasteller i metallic farger, og de er jo bare helt supre til Art Journalen min. Så, da ble det en side da...

My thoughts...

...are going back to Friday, when I sat calm and relaxed on O'Hare Airport in Chicago. And, I feel the feeling I had when I heard the news on CNN again and again. Norway, Norwegian, Bomb, Terror... I couldn't believe it! It was a loooooooong flight home, and lots of worries about my friends who works and lives in Oslo.

All the news, and all thoughts I have is a totall caos and I do not know how to express my self other than do it in a creative way. I unfortunally know what it will say to loose someone you love in an unfare way! And my thought are going to all of you who lost someone! Words is not enough, and the only thing I can say is that I am feeling for you. I am thinking of you, and my hearts are crying for you!

En dag jeg aldri kommer til å glemme! En dag jeg satt i utlandet og fikk totalt sjokk over amerikanske nyheter som forteller at det er terrorangrep i Oslo... Snakk om uvirkelig situasjon, og snakk om å føle seg langt borte fra hjemlandet. Det ble en lang flytur hjem, og det var mange tanker som svirret i hodet mitt på veien over dammen. Det var heller ikke noe særlig morsomt å sette seg på flyet fra Düsseldorf, og ikke vite hva slags terror dette var...

Og det var vondt å komme hjem til en nyhet om at så mange personer var drept over en persons udåd! Herregud, hva skjer? Tankene mine går til dere som har mistet noen, til dere som savner noen og til dere som var midt oppi dette. Jeg vet at ord mangler, og jeg vet at ord sjelden trøster så vonde opplevelser... Alt jeg kan si er at jeg tenker på dere, og hjertet mitt gråter for dere!

For meg er det å utrykke meg kreativt en verdifull ting, og jeg måtte bare få dette litt på avstand og si hva jeg føler. Det ble ikke helt som jeg ville, men det ble en del av det jeg tenker på nå...

It’s Back…Artistic Wire with Julianna

A small "hello" from Chicago and CHA convention!

Workshop day at the convention, and one of the classes that we took was "It's back...Artistic Wire with Julianna". Fun class, and we learned a lot :-)

Tomorrow the convention starts with the exibits, and we have a lot of brands that we have to go through. It will be hard work, but also LOTS and LOTS of fun :-)

Out of my birdhouse...

...into a townhouse with lots of room, and I love it :-) Art journaling is fun, and I am so happy that I finally got time to do some pages this weekend. No work, only creative fun!

This page is my tribute to my new house, and I just love to be out of my old apartment called "birdhouse" since it was soooooo smal :-)

I am Art Journaling again...

...have had some ideas for a while now, but I haven't had time to play! Finally, I just put aside all work, and opened my journal :-) And, I am actually looking forward to some good times in the time to come, as I my have found my art-journal-creativity again...I hope...

Endelig så har jeg fått satt meg ned med ideer som har surret rundt i hodet mitt en stund nå. Så i dag bestemte jeg meg for å legge all jobb til side, og bare leke litt med art journalen min. Kanskje jeg kan se frem i mot mange fine stunder med den kreative dagboken min i tiden fremover...vel, jeg kan iallefall håpe :-)

...in my house :-) Got so inspired from Gail Milburn in latest issue of Craft Stamper, that I just had to make my own <>. Here it is, and I had so much fun making it. A good creative Sunday :-)

...har entret huset mitt :-) Jeg ble så utrolig inspirert av Gail Milburn i siste Craft Stamper bladet, at jeg bare måtte lage min egen lille "Le Circus". Her er den altså, og jeg hadde bare så utrolig gøy mens jeg lagde denne. Har hatt en super creative og rolig søndag - jippi!
